TRIP SCHEDULE:
Monday, November 26 – Good morning and welcome to our Christmas in Branson tour. Sit back, relax and get to know your fellow travelers as we make our way to Effingham, IL for our first night lodging. Tuesday,
November 27 – Breakfast is included every morning on this tour. We continue through Illinois and cross the Mississippi River viewing the Gateway Arch in St. Louis as we enter Missouri. A lunch stop will be made today at Lambert’s Café, “the home of throwed rolls.” You will experience one of the most unique restaurants in the US as well as some of the best home cooked food there is. Continuing on the short drive to Branson, we check in to the hotel before enjoying one of the original shows that started it all in Branson, the Baldknobbers Hillbilly Jamboree. Get ready for 2 hours of great music and side splitting humor. Wednesday,
November 28 – After breakfast we start the day with a guided tour of Branson and the surrounding area. This afternoon reserved seats await for one of the top shows, “The Daniel O’Donnell Show.” After the show we will stay right at the resort for dinner before enjoying the “Million Dollar Quartet.” This show brings together the historic night at Sun Records when legendary producer Sam Phillips brought together Elvis Pressley, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash for a spontaneous recording/jam session. Thursday,
November 29 – Today we have 3 shows, the morning starts with “The Hughes Brothers Christmas Show,” consistently voted as one of the top Christmas Shows in Branson. This afternoon we will see the “Legends in Concert Show.” After our included dinner reserved seats await for the “Neal McCoy Show”. Neal McCoy is a hard working artist that has as much fun performing, as the audience does watching. Friday, November 30 – After breakfast we check out of our hotel and begin the trip home. A stop will be made at St. James Winery for a tour and tasting before lunch. Continuing on to Effingham, IL this afternoon for the nights accommodations once again. Saturday,
December 1 – Continuing homeward we sit back and relax with our new found friends remembering all the great shows and the wonderful time we have spent in Branson, Missouri for the Christmas shows and entertainment. The estimated return time to the Thumb of Michigan should be around 7:00 pm.
