Detroit’s Eastern Market - Pickup locations Sandusky, Peck & Emmett
Flower Day Week-end SATURDAY MAY 16 2020
DESCRIPTION:
Join us for a visit to the oldest outdoor market in the United States, Detroit’s Eastern Market. Designated as a historic site, this market dates back to 1891 when farmers from Michigan, Ohio and Ontario came to sell their produce, meats, flowers and goods in the outdoor pavilions and a variety of indoor markets. Eastern Market means family, as several generations shop together to see and experience the market, its wares, sights and sounds. Enjoy specialty shops where nuts, cheeses, coffee, seafood, wines, baked goods and spices abound along with many other items to numerous to mention. This is the 52nd Annual Flower Day’s Weekend. There are a lot of activities and extra booths throughout Eastern Market. Try some of the food booths (the ribs are to die for!) The time scheduled for market shopping is 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
