Itinerary:

Flight to Anchorage, AK: July 24th, 2024

Day 1: Arrive into Anchorage, Alaska’s largest city. You will be met by your local Tour Director, and transferred to your local hotel. Then time on your own to explore before a welcome dinner. Overnight Anchorage.

Day 2: After Breakfast, enjoy a city tour of Anchorage featuring the historic downtown area, Earthquake Park, and Lake Hood. Later, visit the Alaska Native Heritage Center where you will have the opportunity to learn about the cultures of Alaska. Enjoy time on your own in Anchorage. Overnight Anchorage.

Day 3: After Breakfast board your deluxe motorcoach for a scenic transfer to the coastal community of Seward. Upon arrival into Seward, you will board a glacier and wildlife cruise tour through Kenai Fjords National Park. Explore the face of a glacier and be on the lookout for whales, sea lions, otters, puffins and more. Lunch will be included on board. Overnight Seward.

Day 4: Breakfast included. Time on your own to explore Seward. Later, board your deluxe motorcoach for a scenic transfer to the port town of Whittier. Upon arrival into Whittier board your marine vessel for a scenic journey through Prince William Sound to the town of Valdez. Enjoy the pristine waters as you look out for marine animals, glaciers, and towering mountains. Overnight Valdez.

Day 5: After breakfast, board the motorcoach for a journey north to the largest city in the interior, Fairbanks; known to Alaskans as the Golden Heart City. The route takes you along the Wrangell - St. Elias National Park, the largest park in the U.S. and the Trans-Alaska Pipeline. Overnight Fairbanks.

Day 6: Breakfast included. Today learn how the gold rush affected Alaska's interior on a sightseeing tour with an included visit to the Museum of the North. Time available for shopping, walking or dining on your own in the downtown area. Cruise on the Chena River aboard a sternwheeler and experience the thrill of river travel. Dinner included tonight at an Authentic Salmon Bake. Overnight Fairbanks. Flight to Anchorage, AK: July 24th, 2024

Day 7: Breakfast included. Enjoy the scenic ride south to Denali National Park. In the afternoon, explore this pristine area at your leisure or by either participating in a complimentary park service activity or optional tour. There are many to choose from including mild or wild river rafting, flight seeing, a jet boat safari on the Nenana River, ATV riding or a visit to an Iditarod champions award winning dog kennel. Overnight Denali.

Day 8: After breakfast, travel deep into Denali National Park and search the vast wilderness for bear, moose, caribou, and Dall sheep. This journey is narrated allowing for insight into the animals, flora and fauna of this spectacular region. Tonight, enjoy dinner at the Cabin Nite Dinner Theater. Overnight Denali.

Day 9: Breakfast included. There will be time to explore Denali on own this morning. You will then be transferred to the Denali Rail Depot where you will board a deluxe dome railcar for a scenic train journey south to the quaint town of Talkeetna. Lunch will be included on board. Upon arrival into Talkeetna, you will have time to explore and have supper on your own. Later, board your deluxe motorcoach for a scenic transfer south to Anchorage. Overnight Anchorage.

Day 10 Breakfast included. This morning there will be time exploring and lunch on own before it is time to say goodbye to your local Tour Director, as you are transferred to the Anchorage Airport for your flight.

Payments & Cancellations A $1000.00 per person deposit is due along with your Registration Form to reserve your place on this trip. We have reserved a limited number of seats & do not expect that more will be available if we sell out. $600.00 of your deposit is non-refundable due to vendors Parrott's Tours has booked with for this tour. Reservations will not be accepted online & must be placed by calling (810)376-9245.

Final payments are due by April 15, 2024. Any cancellations after this date will not be granted a refund unless a replacement can be found. A fee for name changes is also possible. In the unlikely event that Parrott’s Tours cancels this tour, all money paid will be refunded.

*Pickup points & departure times will be based on our route to the airport & the locations of our guests. Final pickup points & departure times will be determined in June, or once the tour has sold out. Please list your preferred pick-up location on the reservation form.
