Iowa, Missouri, and Illinois are home to some of the finest quilt stores in the country such as the Missouri Star Quilt Company. Please join us as we celebrate the love of quilting together while taking a step back in time and enjoying the small towns that are the heart of America.

Monday, May 16, 2022: Good morning and welcome to the Missouri Star Quilting Tour. Sit back, relax, enjoy the ride, and make new quilting friends. Today we will travel across Michigan, Northern Indiana, and onto Springfield, Illinois. Along the way we will stop in LaSalle, Illinois at Quilting in The Valley, a shop that was featured in the Spring 2021 issue of Quilt Sampler Magazine. Our overnight accommodations will be in Springfield, Illinois. 

Tuesday, May 17, 2022: After a good night’s rest and included breakfast, we will continue on our way across Illinois and into Missouri. Our first stop will be in Hannibal Missouri, where we will visit the Hickory Stick Quilt Shop and Bits & Pieces Quilt Shop. Both of these shops were recognized as “Top Ten Quilt Stores”. From Hannibal we will travel to a quilter’s dream town know as the “Disneyland of Quilting” and home of the Missouri Star Quilt Company, located in Hamilton, Missouri. After a full afternoon of shopping, we will head for Chillicothe, Missouri for an included dinner and overnight accommodations.

Wednesday, May 18, 2022: After our included breakfast, we return to Missouri Star Quilt Company for a few hours. We depart Hamilton, Missouri at 11am and travel through Iowa. We stop at the Amish Country Store in Lamoni for lunch on your own. After lunch we visit The Wollen Needle Quilt Shop in Williamsburg, followed by a short ride to the Heritage Design Quilting Shop in Amana. After a full day of shopping, we continue onto Coralville, Iowa for dinner on your own and overnight accommodations. 

Thursday, May 19, 2022: After an included breakfast we will be on our way home. Don’t be surprised if we find another shop or two that we just can’t resist stopping at. Lunch on your own today will be near Joliet, Illinois at the Cracker Barrel. From here we continue on across Illinois and Northern Indiana, before we are back in Michigan. Rest stops and breaks will be made along the way. 

PAYMENTS and CANCELLATIONS: $200.00 per person deposit is due with your reservation form to guarantee your seat on this tour. Balance is due in full by April 8, 2022. You have the right to cancel your reservation and receive a full refund prior to April 8, 2022. Cancellations made after April 8, 2022 will forfeit their $200.00 per person deposit. Cancellations made after April 29, 2022 will not be granted a refund, unless you find a replacement. Parrott’s Tours reserves the right to cancel this tour if less than 30 people have made paid reservations by April 8, 2022.
