Join us as Parrott’s Tours explores a unique, one of a kind Tour to Oldham County, Kentucky. This hidden gem is sure to be an exciting adventure we can not wait to share with you! Located in the north central part of Kentucky, 20 minutes from downtown Louisville, is Oldham County. Oldham County is one of the wealthiest in Kentucky. Oldham County is named after Colonel William Oldham, a Revolutionary War officer. Oldham County was a prohibition or completely dry county until January 2005. This little town is full of history and a museum all about the Underground Railroad! Join us as we explore this all new tour!

Tuesday April 26 - Travel to Odham Kentucky. Check into your accommodations and head to Hometown Pizza, where a private room has been reserved with a Pizza buffet. This dinner is included with the tour. 

Wenesday April 27- Today we have a full agenda of touring. We visit Woodland Bison Farm in Goshen Kentucky where you will tour on a hay wagon overlooking the Ohio River! You will tour the History Center Campus & Newly Renovated Museum. Included Lunch today hosts an Underground Railroad speaker. You also get to experience Trains on Main in historic downtown La Grange. Today you will experience a 100% hands-on horse farm tour. Many movies have been filmed at Windy Meadows Horse Farm, including Orphan Horse and the Hallmark trilogy -The Ultimate Legacy. Included dinner this evening is a BBQ Picnic at Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve. After dinner you will be able to stroll through the Preserve on your own, before returning to the hotel. 

Thursday April 28 - Todays tours include Yew Dell Botanical Gardens where you will self guide yourself through the garden and see the tulips and hyacinths. Another tour is of Hermitage Farm and will also include lunch. Visit 3rd Turn Oldham Gardens and The Kentucky Artisan Distillery for a tour and tasting. Included dinner this evening host special gues Jenny Pfanenstiel, Official Milliner of the Kentucky Derby. You will also get the opportunity to tour her La Grange hat shop. 

Friday April 29 - As our trip comes to a close and we check out of our hotel, we make another stop on our travels home. We will stop at the Kentucky Derby Museum/Churchhill Downs Racetrack! This will be a 30 minute historic walking tour where you will experience the rich history of Churchill Downs Racetrack and learn about legendary Derby winners. After the tour concludes we travel home with Lunch and Rest Stops enroute.

TRIPLE OCCUPANCY: $745.00 

QUAD OCCUPANCY: $705.00

Parrott’s Tours reserves the right to cancel this tour if less than 30 passengers have placed a deposit of $250.00 prior to January 30, 2022. Full payment is due March 1, 2022. Cancellations after the March 1, 2022 deadline will not be refunded, unless a replacement can be found. If Parrott’s Tours cancels this tour, all paid participants will be contacted and money refunded. Pick up and Departure Times will be determinded approximately 2 weeks prior to departure, or when the tour has reached 30 paid reservations. Pick up locations will be determinded by the number of passengers that have requested each location. Please list your suggested pickup location on the reservation form.
