August 4th and the 5th host a special weekend flea market from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. another event on Saturday August 5th is the antique market, also from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. overnight accommodations for this tour are at the farmstead inn and conference center. Friday August 4, 2023 - Located in the Heart of Northern Indiana’s Amish Country, Shipshewana Trading Place features the Midwest’s Largest Flea Market, with crazy fun, auctions, bargains, and delicious food! Shop the 40 acre, 700 open-air vendor booths for bargains on home decor, clothing, produce, plants, tools, crafts, books, accessories, and everything imaginable at the market. Today we get an early start on traveling to Shipshewana, Indiana. Pack your cooler with drinks and snacks as we make our way to the Flea Market. Rest Stops will be made enroute. Approximate arrival is 12:30pm. There are many options at the market for lunch on your own, then let the shopping begin! The bus will be available to put your purchases on throughout the day. The Flea Market closes at 4pm. We have also added an exclusive experience today! The Flea Bag Trail Scavenger Hunt! You may experience the hunt as an individual or in teams. This is not a race, you're free to shop, eat, and take in the sites along the way. Each vendor will meet you at each unique booth location as you discover and count the “Fleas”.

Overnight accommodations are at the Farmstead Inn and Conference Center. The Farmstead Inn is the closest hotel to the Flea Market, located across the street. It is also a 1 block walk to downtown Shipshewana. Saturday August 5, 2023 - Enjoy an included breakfast before we check out. For those of you who are not shopped out, the Shipshewana Antique Market begins at 8am. Shop an outdoor pavilion full of antique dealers selling a variety of antiques, collectibles, furniture, salvage, signs, glassware, toys, vintage items, jewelry, and more! The market is being held in the Farmstead Inn Event Pavilion from 8am-4pm. The Flea Market is also going on again today from 8am-4pm. We will be departing Shipshewana at 2pm. Rest breaks will again be made enroute as we travel home.

This Tour includes: 1 night accommodation, a Step on Guided Tour, Visit and learn about Shipshewana’s Murals, Free Time for shopping at the Flea & Antique Markets, Bonus Scavenger Hunt, Round Trip Motor Coach Transportation, & Escorted by a Parrott’s Tours Representative.

Payments & Cancellations

A $100.00 deposit is due along with your registration form to reserve your seat on this tour. Your deposit is non-refundable due to fees Parrott’s Tours will occur from lodging vendors we have booked with.

Reservations are first come, first served.

Final payments are due by July 17, 2023. Any cancellation that occurs after July 17, 2023 will not be granted a refund unless a replacement can be found. In the unlikely event that Parrott’s Tours cancels this tour, all money paid will be refunded.

Locations listed above are common pickup points and the direction we will be traveling. We will depart from Deckerville and travel along M-46W, M-53S, and I-69W. This tour may offer more options based on passenger need. Final departure location and times will be determined after July 17, 2023 or once the tour has 30 paid reservations. Please list your preferred pick up location on the reservation form.
