We will journey over the river & thru beautiful northern Michigan woods by horse drawn carriage lead by massive draft horses to the resorts elk preserve to view Rocky Mountain elk in their natural habitat. Then you will be treated to a five course gourmet dinner and wine tasting event!
Lodging for the night will be at Thunder Bay's spacious retreat. After an included breakfast we'll stop at the Williams Cheese Co. in Linwood & the delicious Turkey Roost in Kawkawlin.
On the way home we'll stop at "Williams Cheese Company & factory outlet" in Linwood. After viewing William's factory operations and checking out their award winning cheeses, we'll head on over to the delicious "Turkey Roost" in Kawkawlin, Michigan for lunch on your own. You'll love the homemade turkey, potatoes & gravy and especially the biscuits! Don't forget desert ..... the pies are homemade by Rosie's Pies down the street.
